Last weekend, Doug, Denton, and I made the trip to Missouri for my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary. This was also the first time they had seen Denton. We had a really good time and enjoyed seeing everyone! Denton did pretty well on the airplanes. He slept through most of them. Waiting in the St. Louis airport. At the gate in Chicago. Monday, December 8, 2008. Saturday was the Roanoke Rapids Christmas Parade. It was a little different this year. Instead of having it in the afternoon, it didn't start until 4 pm. That was both good and bad. Good because since it was dark all the floats had lights. Bad because it was so cold! It was in the 30's the whole time! Thursday, September 4, 2008. Our friends Dave and Trisha Welsh from Erie, Pa were visiting family in Florida and decided to come up for Monday. We were so excited to see them and hang out for a few hours. The water got rough after lunch, and I am pretty sure Trisha will not be riding in a boat with us for a while, but we had fun any way. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. For the second year in a row we have gone on our long journey to Washington D.C., then on to Erie, PA, and finally to Greeneville, TN before heading home to Georgia. Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Pumpkin Carving With The Kings. Last night we decided to carve some pumpkins we had picked from my mom's garden. Jason and Ashley King, some very good friends of ours, decided to bring their pumpkin and join in the fun. It was great! Our finished Pumpkins- don't they look awesome! 160;What a mess! Linden during all the fun. The King's sweet little girl, Marley Love. She really liked watching us. Lawson had so much fun! Lawson kept putting the guts back in the pumpkins.
