Once Upon A Time. And they hopefully live Happily Ever After. December 10, 2010. The Light. It IS at the end of the tunnel right? I have been dotting all my I's. Life happens. It is the only way to explain hardship without adding a why. The word happens may not even be the proper term because happens means:. To come to pass by chance; occur without apparent reason or design. Life doesn't just HAPPEN, life is a. A wise young mother once told me (Okay it was Leah Stimmel. That I love into the LIFE. http://derekandalyx.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 20, 2010. In need of your favorites. As most of you may already know by now, I've officially been given oodles of time. It's only day 2 of an at least 6-week stint of bed rest, and I'm already bored! So, seeing as most of my friends and family aren't locally available to come over and chit chat, I'm calling on all of you to send me your top 5 favorite books and movies (maybe entertaining websites? Or even easy meal ideas to explain to someone not inclined to cooking! A Little About Us.

Andrea & Joseph: September 2012
http://andreaandjosephbowler.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Even though we live far away in a whole new land it feels like there isn't much to report. We finally received our car! I am trying as best I can to freeze the freezable fresh produce while it's in season. So far we have grapes, a few peach halves, green bell pepper slices, and two quarts of homemade tomato soup. What else should I be freezing? Kathryn, we don't even take pictures of ourselves anymore! Perhaps we'll take one for you soon.). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Life is so good! Mrs V {at home}.

Saileey's Birthday Part II. Saileey's Birthday Part I. Thanksgiving and Saileey's Birthday. This is Andrea making a wonderful pie! The lesson we learned is the vinegar that is sold in Uzbekistan is A LOT more powerful than the States :). Here is a more candid picture on how Andrea and I get to cook. There is always the cute bald gremlin attached to our legs. This picture is the day after Thanksgiving. This tree is an awesome find by Andrea shortly after last Christmas through FreeCycle. Saileey is trying...

Andrea & Joseph: January 2013
http://andreaandjosephbowler.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
It has been a while since we've done a post. Surprisingly it was a really busy holiday season for us. Saileey spent too many nights up too late and we spent a lot of time with friends who stayed in Tashkent too. Our most recent outing was a trip to the mountains! As you can barely tell, those yellow things people are dragging are the sleds. If you link up with a few of them, you get going pretty fast! Don't worry Andrea, it fits two :). Here's Andrea like a champ! Saileey and Dad going for a walk. Th...

Andrea & Joseph: March 2013
http://andreaandjosephbowler.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
For those who haven't heard. A few weeks ago we had a big decision to make. It has been confirmed that our decision has been validated to stay here in Tashkent Uzbekistan for another year! This means our tour will end May 2015. I only hope Saileey will go easy on us. We thought spring was here for good last week, however we had rain and snow this last weekend and it was so cold! Outside the circus. Of the 3 hour show we only made it through 2, Saileey wasn't interested one bit. Trying out the new stroller.

I am Katie-Beth: September 2012
http://iamkatiebeth.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 27, 2012. Some of my favorite posts to read on other peoples blogs are the ones where they just talk about what they are doing lately. So I figured I would give a post like that a try. Tuesday I also started reading. Unlikely Heroes: Ordinary Men and Women Whose Courage Won the Revolution. It is a compilation of small stories and has been pretty good so far. So what have you been doing this week? Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Shortly after we signed up Amanda said we needed to make som...
