People call it Asia Lite or Asia for Beginners because it is so easy to live here. English is very common, and we hear lots of Malay. It is almost the same as Indonesian, so sometimes we feel at home here! You can see from these photos that Singapore has a beautiful riverside downtown, but our neighborhood is nice in its own way. Our flat (British English, please! Is a short walk from the MRT station, so our commute to the office is an easy ride each day.
