http://davidbellamyart.blogspot.com/p/forthcoming-events_07.html

Forthcoming and Current Events. This marvellous annual event will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary next month during 6th to 9th June, and we look forward to it with great anticipation: the art and crafts on display are quite amazing, there are many great demonstrations taking place, and the whole ambience of the place is that of a glorious relaxed English summer festival. DavidBellamyArt: April 2015

http://davidbellamyart.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 28 April 2015. Painting rough ground in watercolour. My work tends to gravitate to those places I love most - the mountains, the wild coast and remote places where nature is supreme, where the ground is generally pretty rough. Capturing this roughness in a painting can be very rewarding, and as rough ground is not found only in the wild areas it pays to be able to render this effectively. This painting will be displayed in my forthcoming exhibition at the Windrush Gallery. Saturday, 18 April 2015.

Tuesday, 11 November 2014. Gearing up for sketching outdoors. Gearing up for sketching outdoors. Watercolor painting outside in winter. Monday, 3 November 2014. This techniqu...

ChrispZArt: November 2015

http://chrispzart.blogspot.com/2015_11_01_archive.html

My efforts to capture the view on paper. My Favourite Reference Media. Tuesday, 3 November 2015. Continuing my entry into oil painting I completely painted over an unfinished plein air painting from Longview Road Mulgoa the week before. The initial work was not working well and I am still not satisfied with the rescued work. Perhaps it is the subject. View repainted 10 x 12 inch oil and completed in one session. A bit to much green though. Must watch that. I am still unsure about my oil painting process ...

http://chrispzart.blogspot.com/2016_10_01_archive.html

My efforts to capture the view on paper. My Favourite Reference Media. Sunday, 30 October 2016. As you can see, my Art Blog has been dormant for several months. This is as a consequence of the Pearson household being taken over by two English Cocker Spaniel pups, Billy and Penny. I also have been updating our family history backing this up with a DNA test through Ancestry. Here are the few works I missed posting in the intervening period:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My last work was a watercolour at home of York Street, Sydney with the Town Hall at the end. Its a painting I have painted a few years ago from photographs and enjoyable. I am now back to water soluble oil painting so look out for my next monthly report. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://chrispzart.blogspot.com/2016/05/april-2016.html

My efforts to capture the view on paper. My Favourite Reference Media. Wednesday, 4 May 2016. Our next Plein Air was to the Richmond Lowlands at a location that Charles Conder painted from whilst visiting with Streeton. Conder then went back to the UK and to the Newlyn School late 19th century. At this spot I painted the view looking towards the Banks of Terrace Road beyond the Hawkesbury River picking up a nearby cottage at the same time. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My efforts to capture the view on paper. My Favourite Reference Media. Monday, 1 February 2016. The Summer Holidays over, schools back and here is the first update to my blog this year. It carries my best wishes to all who read along it. At the end of this month I attended a one day workshop tutored by Robyn Collier, an oil painter who specialises in Australian wilderness landscape and seascapes. It was a very enjoyable session and much was learned. Here my attempt at the work done by all as comp...

Friday, 23 March 2018. Ice on the Equator. For many years one of my ambitions has been to climb Mount Kenya to sketch those amazing peaks and the other-worldly plants that grow high on the mountain. Most people head for Kilimanjaro, as it's the highest in Africa, but Mount Kenya is much more beautiful. So this month I thought if I don't do it soon I never will. Labels: adventures with wildlife. Thursday, 22 February 2018. Creating an illustrated journal. I shall look forward to seeing how you all fare in...
