2011年12月5日，美国知识产权所有者协会在华盛顿DC进行颁奖晚宴，华裔女科学家崔景荣领衔的辉瑞公司治疗肺癌新药 Xalkori (crizotinib)团队荣膺第38届年度国家发明大奖 Annual National Inventors of the Year。 崔景荣博士是抗癌药Xalkori 的主导发明人 Lead Inventor。 Xalkori 化学名Crizotinib 克里唑蒂尼 , 于2011年8月26日获得美国食品药品管理局(FDA)快速批准用于具有ALK融和基因的肺癌靶向治疗。 崔博士发表了五十多篇研究论文和专利， 其中克里唑蒂尼专利 US patent 7858643 荣获第38届美国国家发明者年度奖 38th Annual National Inventor of the Year Award。 这是美国知识产权所有者协会 Intellectual Property Owners Association 为奖历重大发明创造所设立的年度奖。 这些人都曾是肺癌晚期患者，崔景荣发明的新药让他们康复 摘自 生命和呼吸 在肺癌中生存 的英文报道。
