I really don't know where the time goes these days. I have been a really bad blogger. I guess my focus has just been on other things. Life is going well for us at the Davis house. We just celebrated Carters first birthday. On tuesday. I really can't believe that my baby is one! We love that little guy so much. And I am already crazy baby hungry. Living here in the desert has its perks, I mean who really wants to deal with snow in the winter and freezing cold weather? At least that is what I tell myself in the summer when its over 110 degrees outside! So with those kind of temps we take every chance we can to escape the heat. Next year your taking me on a cruise! This years anniversary isn't quite what I had in mind, driving off to Idaho to attend my Grandmother's funeral isn't exactly my idea of fun. {Especially by myself with 3 children. This picture has nothing to do with this post, I just love this picture of my Grandma that was taken a few months before she passed away.}. Life has been crazy busy in the Davis house these days. It has been so nice to have the kids back in school and be back into a routine. Not that I don't want my kids home I just enjoy the structure that school forces on you. Stop and smell the roses. It's been way too long since I've blogged. I know I shouldn't let my completely full iphoto thus all my pictures are stuck on my camera until I figure out what to do about it keep me from blogging, but I do. I mean who wants to read my blah blah blah without even a picture to keep it interesting? I have so many thoughts that I want to get down on paper but they never seem to make it there. When we started out it was 29 degrees and snowing. The trail was muddy and wet and my feet were soaking after about 2 miles. Luckily it cleared up once we got to lower elevation and I was able to change into some dry socks. The scenery was so beautiful and I tried to just take it all in and enjoy the beauty of the world around me. Links to this post.
