News from the Piney Woods. Thursday, September 4, 2008. Long Time, No Post! Ok well I havent been that great at posting! We have been busy working and playing! We are taking Jenna in to get her foot looked at. She walks more on the ball of her foot and have noticed it increasing and her toes turning more outward for traction. I blame it on her being in my ribs for nine months! Then it will be Christmas. Welcome back to blogging world! I will be praying for Jenna and her foot :) Keep us updated!

Sunday, July 3, 2011. In the interest of full disclosure, here's a recipe Aunt Vena sent this week. It has a little less mustard that I typically use and has just a touch of vinegar. Tried it today and I must say, I like it.a lot. Grandma's coleslaw was also different than Mama's. Grandma grated a little carrot and her dressing was some kind of sugar/vinegar combination.
