Detour: Daysailing with Heart of Sailing
http://detourboat.blogspot.com/2010/01/heart-of-sailing.html
Monday, January 11, 2010. Daysailing with Heart of Sailing. In addition to our Parade of Lights trip, we enjoyed a couple of daysails on behalf of the Heart of Sailing organization. Bill and Annie Kohut were always grand supporters, helping arrange it all. And on April 19, 2009, we had the pleasure of being joined by Heart of Sailing founder and President George "JoJo" Saidah. You can see all of the pictures on the Heart of Sailing website. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Guest Book (Now Fixed?

Monday, January 7, 2008. Gannon Yachts laid up the hull and deck in 1979 in Petaluma, California. We bought it from the first owner, who did a quality jog building her out. He commissioned her in 1981. She's a cutter rigged. This basically means that the boat can fly two triangular sails in front of the mast in addition to the mainsail behind the mast. It is a double-ender, meaning that the back (stern) of the boat is also pointy. Here's some of the equipment:. 40 hp Yanmar diesel 3 cylinder (3JH3E) 2002.
