Sunday, October 28, 2007. Dynamically Generating CSS and Skin Files for Custom User Experience. Feel free to check out the sample code at the link below and make any comments or suggestions. Since it is just a proof of concept it is a little rough and not that elegant, but it displays the point. Download the source code to the proof of concept. (VS2008 required). Monday, July 09, 2012. Analyzing Jpgs Byte By Byte. I have been doing a bit of work lately analyzing images from both video streams and static pictures and apparently I have found the process interesting enough to write about it. It's not very often that I can get away from the standard CRUD type application and I really found it interesting to dig into the basics of image analysis. Next we need to get the image into a byte array. This is a bit more complicated, but really isn't that bad. Finally while i...

http://weblog.ctrlalt313373.com/CategoryView,category,DeepZoomComposer.aspx
Sunday, December 07, 2008. In order to begin working with Deep Zoom the first thing we need to do is prepare an image for Deep Zoom by creating tiles out of the image of different resolutions. This would be a bit cumbersome to do by hand so luckily Microsoft has provided us with the Deep Zoom Composer which you can download. Next a window will appear that will ask you if you want to add a new ASP.NET web project to the solution or generate a test page at build time. Every Silverlight application ...If yo...

Saturday, October 20, 2007. Switched From DotNetNuke to DasBlog. The migration was made easier by a C# application that Scott Hanselman. Had posted to his blog in 2005. I had to make modifications to it to have it read from DNN and to get it to create files in the proper format for the latest version of DasBlog. I also made some adjustments so that it would properly correct most of my links. You can download the modified C# Application from here. Save to del.icio.us. Follow me on Twitter.
