Thursday, November 13, 2014. New York, New York - part 6. We walked to church from our hotel through the streets of Brooklyn. I really liked the row houses. We had pizza for lunch at Grimaldi's, under the Brooklyn Bridge. We had to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge because it is just the iconic thing to do. I loved it so much. Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Arizona with our Smedleys. This is the first year in five years since Steph and Jared moved out of state that they haven't come back for Christmas. So this year, the day after Christmas, Dave and I flew down to Arizona to see them. Saturday we went to the Phoenix Zoo with Steph and Shad, while Jared slept after working a night shift. Monday, July 20, 2015. New York - June 2015 - Day 3. Jared had flown back to Utah to get their car. Stephanie was trying to get her New York Nurses license. So she spent the day at the hotel on the computer. Dave, Shad and I drove out to the Hamptons. First we stopped at Sag Harbor. We ate lunch with this view. Lobster bisque and lobster roll. We seldom let our own kids ride on the toys in stores. We can't resist when a grandchild asks us though. Dave and I took turns going to the top of the lighthouse.

Monday, July 20, 2015. We spent Mother's Day at Jeff and Fran's house. Bryson just got home from his mission and spoke in their ward. Then we had dinner there afterwards. Love my beautiful Mum. The mothers who were there that day. Then we picked up the Mason boys from Kathy and Terry. Ash and Jud went to Washington DC and we split the babysitting with Jud's parents. I watched Mitt one day at his house. All of my grandkids are book lovers. That Saturday we ran the Ogden Half Marathon in the pouring rain.

Monday, July 20, 2015. New York - June 2015 - Day 2. I have always wanted to go to Coney Island. It was kind of sketchy. But I still liked it. Shad was so excited to ride the carousel. We then took the subway from this station (so ghetto) to Manhattan. We ate street food in Bryant Park. Hundreds of people were doing yoga in the park. We took a quick glance at Grand Central Station. Tuesday, July 21, 2015. The 4th of July - 2015. Dave and I usually run the Cherry Days 5k. But we were both still injured from our Half Marathon two months ago. Luckily we got to watch Lily, Jack, Olivia and Holly cross the finish line this year. We ate breakfast in the park. Sat by the Mason family for the parade.
