Tuesday, 17 February 2015. Keeping Mum about Sherlock. Maybe it's got something to do with the nature of our local history that makes the West Wight good at keeping secrets. The long history of Smuggling gave up few secrets, in Chale for example, whole conversations could be had on one level- that had 'secret codes' in a local patua only understood by those in the trade. Queen Victoria came and went- un-noticed in a Brougham and walked about the High Down with Tennyson according to Harold Nicholson.

Helping Linux-using photographers be awesome at finding their photos. Dimbola is, or will be, a free Linux/GNOME application for managing digital photographs. It is aimed at serious photographers. It is currently nearing alpha state. Some basic functionality is there and works, but lots is still missing. This page is a placeholder for until there is some real content. (Help wanted! This is a wiki, just fix things if you see something broken.). For what will hopefully happen in the future.

All of sudden i feel old. Links naar deze post. Ontslagnemend minister van Defensie Pieter De Crem sluit niet uit dat het regime van de Libische kolonel Kadhafi in het bezit is van biologische of chemische wapens. Daarom moet de lopende militaire operatie met aandrang worden voortgezet. Dat verklaarde de minister maandag op de Waalse commerciële zender Bel-RTL. Weapons of mass destruction. Zoals ik al vreesde.
