Along came the fold. Monday, January 13, 2014. This post is a bit late but better late than never! Event at the Western Front with 20 vendors and 500 attendees over the weekend. Over the past few years, Got Craft? Grew to over 50 handmade vendors and 1700 people through the doors in one day. I was very excited to go to this and had such a blast! One pretty nifty and magical toy trunk. Once upon a time there was a dated trunk. It didn't have the best bones, the best hardware but it had 'potential' and someone to give it some TLC. This trunk was given to me a few months ago by a coworker. It wasn't super ugly but pretty blah looking - it needed a new look! Note: the belt is mine. I never wear it anymore so decided to upcycle it as part of the furniture update. I left the inside. The trunk seems so magical! Here's the front pull. 2 Write a Comment.

Along came the fold. Friday, January 17, 2014. Lets Be Adventurous: Window Painting DIY. But here's a quick break down how I painted the message onto the window. I took the inspiration from Ohhappyday's blog post. Where she painted a message onto the pavement outside. Being in Vancouver, where it's rarely sunny and dry in the winter, let alone on Finian's birthday, I decided to take the idea and bring it inside. Template: you can download the free template here. A bar of soap. A beautiful window message!
