My husband went skiing at Sugar Bowl yesterday (great conditions early but mushy in the afternoon) and he and his friend only paid $5 because they were 70-plus. Isnt that cool? It appears that there is some controversy over daily bathing/deoderant/hair washing and lots of 20 and 30-somethings are rebelling - as in, not showering daily or using deoderant. They took their name (Walgreens) off the building! Heres what happened. I guess Steve Enos - who is responsible for the building looking at least halfway decent - sent the parent company pictures of what a blight their project has become in one of the busiest intersections in the county. Their response? To remove their name from the mess! March 19, 2010.

Because recovering from a crushing and painful alcoholism is hilarious! Sunday, October 24, 2010. So anyway, I didn't update this for almost exactly a year because I was too busy, and frankly getting sober isn't always pretty. Like most people who get sober, I spent most of my first year sober pretty crazy. Going against advice of people who have been where I was, and then getting hurt as a consequence. Will update more later because right now I have to go OH I DONT KNOW SHOWER AND GET TO BED.
