Crafty Mama: Finger Prints
http://www.craftymamablog.com/2013/10/finger-prints.html
Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Jack was working away at his homework and Dais was looking for something to do with us at the table. I grabbed the extra large popsicle sticks that have been lingering in the craft drawer from this. Project, along with the stamp pad, and Dais got to work stamping her fingerprint on each one. I love how Daisy does everything with all her might and passion, even stamping her fingerprint on a stick of wood. Prevent the wood from splitting. Sadly there were a few casualties. Subscr...

Hummingbird...: Happy New Year!
http://hummingbirdnz.blogspot.com/2013/01/happy-new-year.html
Saturday, January 19, 2013. Yeah I'm a bit behind the times but like they say 'better late than never'. I'm really not too sure what to think about being in the year 2013 - is it going to be good, bad or the same as last year. I'm approaching it with caution. No run of the mill New Year Resolutions for me although I do have one goal: to be HAPPY! I'm hoping the rest will just fall in to place and that I am where I am meant to be at this point in time. Crafty Mama: Baby Jesus in a Manger
http://www.craftymamablog.com/2010/12/baby-jesus-in-manger.html
Monday, December 20, 2010. Baby Jesus in a Manger. Does anybody else out there have a soft spot for baby Jesus crafts? This is one we put together after breakfast the other morning. Here's a little visual step-by-step. The popsicle sticks (a.k.a. mangers) were painted brown the day before so they could dry. Jack just needed a little guidance with where to put the glue. Btw, I'll be hunting down more popsicle stick crafts after buying a box of 1,000 to use for this craft. December 20, 2010 at 6:58 PM.

Hummingbird...: Fail
http://hummingbirdnz.blogspot.com/2012/07/fail.html
Saturday, July 28, 2012. Talk about a blog fail! I had such good intentions to make a new start in blogland but things changed. I got a job and even though it is only part time (just under 30 hours), I leave home each day at 8am and return around 5pm. By the time I arrive home I'm exhausted, I do quite a bit of running around and lifting at work. So, does it get easier? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). All things bright and beautiful: Lake Leschenaultia
http://ailsaphilandgirls.blogspot.com/2013/03/lake-leschenaultia.html
All things bright and beautiful. Sunday, March 31, 2013. While the weather is still so gorgeous, we decided to spend Easter Sunday up in the hills at a favourite spot for the locals. We threw some food in the picnic basket (we bought lunch up there, but well you know kids and fresh air = never stop eating! The water was icy cold despite the outside temperature, but that didn't stop lots of kids swimming. After lots of swimming, the girls wanted to go canoeing! Sunday, March 31, 2013. I had an idea for th...

Sew Pretty: Quilting
http://sewprettyfabric.blogspot.com/2012/08/quilting.html
Wednesday, August 1, 2012. So I realise it is quite bizarre to own a fabric shop (or quilt store as it is traditionally known) and not really quilt! The passion and drive behind Sew Pretty really is creativity and I believe that had I been addicted to quilting when I started, it would have resulted in a different store so I am pleased to be a L plate quilter. Every quilt tells a story, from beginning to end, it has a journey of it's own. Here is the blossom quilts story:. So decided it was a go! I spent ...

Sew Pretty: July 2012
http://sewprettyfabric.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 26, 2012. Designer Kelly Lee-Creel has clearly remembered playing dolls in her childhood and has put it all on fabric! What a dream job! Captures everything a little girl could dream of, and comes with a fantastic panel featuring 2 houses, plenty of dolls and 3 quilt blocks to tell the story or make into a book. I see Christmas presents coming up with this very soon! And the bonus is it comes with free pattern to create the stuffed house! The pattern is available here. Links to this post.

Little Hedgehogs: Snow Lovely
http://littlehedgehogs.blogspot.com/2011/08/snow-lovely.html
Monday, August 15, 2011. I guess todays blog is for my friends around the world, especially those who grew up in Wellington and now live in other parts of the world. Today it snowed in Wellington. Today it snowed in Lower Hutt. It hasn't snowed here since 1979! The snow is forecast to fall for at least another day. Maybe tomorrow we'll wake to snow sitting on the lawn. Today has been a real 'once in a blue moon' kinda day - so pleased Lucy and I got out and enjoyed ourselves. August 21, 2011 at 9:06 PM.
