http://christopherrigs.blogspot.com/2009/02/faith.html
Honest thoughts on life with God. Friday, February 20, 2009. A prayer from the valley:. 8217;t be. I know I shouldn. 8217;t compare myself to them. I simply want to believe and not doubt, but I can’t talk myself into it. I can’t make myself believe though I desire to whole- heartedly. But we’re not alone. What is faith anyways? Honest thoughts on life with God. Thursday, January 15, 2009. The other reason for the title of my blog is to simply oppose the title of my younger brother's: "arbitrary thoughts." He's been doing the blog thing for quite a while now and does a great job. It's intimidating. I want to escape his blog-shadow from the very beginning. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Honest thoughts on life with God. Tuesday, April 14, 2009. I often find myself thinking about how I think about things too much. It’s funny. well, not really. It's more exhausting than anything else. I don’t remember ever being real into philosophy in my younger years. Growing up, my strengths were not in abstract concepts and, like most others, I hated those critical thinking essays teachers would always have at the end their tests. Critical thinking? Honest thoughts on life with God. Friday, February 27, 2009. I’m an idealist. I think everyone is to some degree. We all have dreams and our own perceptions of reality. We all have a picture in our hearts and minds of how things ought to be, how life and all the joys and pains are meant to play out and be experienced. If only it were so. Gum just looses its luster after a while. Not knowing how can only prolong the valleys. My dad used this analogy with me once:. I’ll be honest. I don’t r...God is sovere...

Honest thoughts on life with God. Thursday, February 5, 2009. Big, Small World. The world is a huge place. Sometimes I think we forget that. Often we prefer to recognize those moments in life when the world seems small and manageable. You know, like when strange coincidences bring together the most random of things. Like meeting a complete stranger on the other side of the world and coming to find out you share a common friendship. No way! This is the best way I know to describe my most recent experience...
