http://mrscribbler.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
I Wouldn't Read This If I Was Me. Thursday, June 02, 2011. Bad, bad me. As I just haven't been in the mood to write much here. It's not as though nothing's happening. I've kept relatively busy helping D. with her work, doing this and that around the house, painting my Deluxe Office - I'll be moving the computer, my books, and assorted stuff down there soon - and, on occasion, heading out for small adventures. Valentino" had good taste in places to play. When I manage to get some good images, or at le...

I Wouldn't Read This If I Was Me: April 2011
http://mrscribbler.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
I Wouldn't Read This If I Was Me. Saturday, April 30, 2011. In Sandy Bay. But we didn't soak up much of the spring sunshine. D and I spent much of the glorious, sunny afternoon indoors, getting the framing up for the Sumptuous Office Complex. To be fair, I have to say D. did the lion's (lioness's? Nonetheless, a few hours' work brought forth a pretty nifty result. The more we do, the less fits into a photo. Actually, I'm also thinking it will be good simply to have the space done up enough to use. Th...

I Wouldn't Read This If I Was Me: August 2012
http://mrscribbler.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
I Wouldn't Read This If I Was Me. Sunday, August 05, 2012. Signs that make you say "hmmmmm.". I guess this one would qualify, yes? D and I were recently in New Bedford visiting some of her family. We happened to see this while driving through town; I must say I'm glad I wasn't driving, as I probably would have run into something while digging out my camera. I don't think they were Budweisers, though. You might say I'm a believer in the Separation of Church and Beer. Or not. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Whispers and Windsong: fervor
http://whispersandwindsong.blogspot.com/2011/04/fervor_26.html
A little Consideration, a little Thought for Others, makes all the difference. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Reverent whispers fill the hallway. See them tip-toe as they gather. As they gather at the river. On a Sunday afternoon. Babies crying tempers heating. Fans moving to and fro. Create breezes for the flies to enjoy. Little boys picking boogers. Hot sweaty thighs stuck. On those old wooden pews. Trees strung with moss and antiquity. And the asphalt in the parking-lot. Fries eggs and bare feet in the shade.

Whispers and Windsong: from the oven
http://whispersandwindsong.blogspot.com/2011/04/from-oven.html
A little Consideration, a little Thought for Others, makes all the difference. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. On Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 7:26pm. The aroma of roasted turkey. Filling the house awoke buried. Memories from a long-ago. Little girls heart today. They seem to go hand in hand. And bread and butter dialogues. Singing around the kitchen table. Lemon meringue pie and coffee. There is a sense of holiday. And a hunger for yesterday. As my nose takes me on this journey. To happy childhood days.
