Montgomery County DOT and The Americans with Disabilities Act. Thursday, February 7, 2013. And so,our story ends here.It took 11 months to get this response from the Federal HighwayAdministration. There isn't much detail here as to what they actually found when they conducted a review, or what this decision is based upon.In any event, this has been an exhausting, depressing, seemingly-unproductive activity. I am thoroughly- drained of any desire to try and find out any more information. Time to move on.

As you can see, the evidence I have collected on this blog was not persuasive enough for the Federal Highway Administration to find cause against MCDOT.This effectively ends my activism on this issue through this blog. I hope that the blog has been informative, and has offered some new perspectives and possible strategies for making Montgomery County sidewalks accessible to pedestrians – finally.We have a long way to go.
