StoneCoalStudio: August 2015
http://stonecoalstudio.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 27, 2015. Abstract Painting: Ideas and Inspiration. Where do ideas come from for an abstract painting? The answer is: inward or outward or both. The artist may solely tap his or her emotions, experiences, ideas or conflicts by working intuitively. The artist can use a starting point of something tangible and then break it apart ( using elements of art. Or the artist can use both methods. After quickly painting out the boats I focused instead on creating a series of shapes and lines.

Third Day Studios: The Zorn Color Palette
http://bonniemasonart.blogspot.com/2013/11/the-zorn-color-palette.html
Monday, November 25, 2013. The Zorn Color Palette. Last week after experimenting with the Zorn palette of colors during a plein air session I painted this chart on a scrap piece of canvas. My husband had a good idea (because I have a habit of making these charts) that I could punch holes in the sides and keep them in a 3 ring binder - which I thought was a great idea! Down the Path" on 6x8" canvas panel. Stealing the Show" on a 6x8" canvas panel. November 26, 2013 at 5:29 AM. Love your color chart!

One Double Line Artist: More Use of the Acrylic Pours
http://onedoublelineartist.blogspot.com/2015/07/more-use-of-acrylic-pours.html
One Double Line Artist. Tuesday, July 7, 2015. More Use of the Acrylic Pours. I have really found it a challenge to work with acrylic paint using. The method of pours to see the actions of the paint interaction. I have found that a lot of these stand alone beautifully while others. Work so well as an under painting. I think this stand alone paint with the golds, bronze and blacks works. Well to give texture. The under painting for the rooster was a pour of. Have fun with your painting to experiment with.
