Thoughts and actions and other things. Sunday, July 6, 2008. Bike trip from naruto to hiwasa. Today I'm at school with nothing more to do than feel the pain of my sunburn and blog about biking down south this past weekend. The students are taking their mid year exams but I, of course, still have to show up. Why? What country are you from? How long have you been in Japan? Where are you going? Are you an English teacher? The further I headed south, the steeper the hills were. I saw signs for the town o...

Thoughts and actions and other things. Tuesday, December 16, 2008. A bit of small town life. Monday, December 15, 2008. Taichi's visit/back to southeast asia. I spent most of the day reading about Malaysia and Indonesia as the other teachers asked me questions about why I chose to go there during the break. Having fou...

Thoughts and actions and other things. Friday, August 22, 2008. First food co-op delivery. On Friday I came home for lunch and found a five foot high stack of boxes in front of my door. This was a very exciting day because the first shipment of organic vegetables and various all-natural foods had successfully arrived. Not only am I very happy to be eating organic food once again, but having groceries delivered saves me a lot of biking to and from the store. Wednesday, August 20, 2008. After some expert r...
