Saturday, January 5, 2013. Landed yesterday afternoon and I can't believe I'm back. I was just a half a world away in hot and humid weather and now I'm back where there's snow and 30 degree weather. is this for reals? Changed something in me that I could never put words to. I'll be uploading pictures hopefully soon, I just have so much to catch up on. I can't believe I start school already on Monday. I can't wait to go back to Cambodia and Laos. Thursday, March 29, 2012. Today, I babysat for the 2 cutest little kids ever, they were 2 and 4 years old. Man, babysitting kids who can talk and walk around is MUCH harder than babysitting kids who can't. For sure. These kids were so talkative and wanted me to play with them the whole entire time. The 2 year old little girl kept telling me she wanted to get on my back or make her fly. Damn my newly strong arms. the kid knew I could handle it (jk). Draw on the sidewalk with chalk? Sunday, April 14, 2013. So it's been a minute since I've updated my blog! It's been a SUPER busy semester! Teaching is definitely keeping me busy. I never thought it would take me so long to prepare each lecture but it does. I kept getting frustrated each weekend because I would expect to finish a week's worth of lectures in a day and of course, that (obviously) never. Anyway, as some of you know (because I've been begging for donations), I have my first boxing fight on Saturday! How exciting, right?

Thursday, August 9, 2012. Ohio State Reformatory=Shawshank Redemption location. Do you remember the awesome movie "Shawshank Redemption"? Well, I got to visit the prison where the movie took place. The Ohio State Reformatory. It reminded me a lot of Alcatraz. it was built around the same time give or take 50yrs but because of the tier system back then, the structures inside were very similar.
