My Family News: October 2009
http://myfamilynewspaper.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, 25 October 2009. A couple of weeks ago one of our hens, Fortunata, was on her last legs, so we brought her into the house (caged of course) to nurse her back to health. Within a week it was well and we returned her to her mates in the coop. But M said that left a lonely void in the house - she had got used to talking to her. We also got them checked by a vet, but they are in good health. But enough waffle, allow me to introduce the new arrivals with this time lapse film:. View my complete profile.

My Family News: Ouch!
http://myfamilynewspaper.blogspot.com/2010/04/ouch.html
Sunday, 4 April 2010. This is E's back yesterday. One website that spoke about the pox suggested a child might get 50 or more spots. E definitely has the 'or more' part of this. This afternoon it is worse than this picture and I estimated the 50 could be found in any 4 inch square you cared to pick. Now fast asleep (finally) after the hospital visit you can get some idea of his discomfort. E keeps telling us not to "see". "Don't see" he says, feeling self conscious about his appearance. When T had chicke...

It must be impossible to find a comfortable position. On the bright side, if it has reached his feet already, it shouldnt last too long. Apalling though it is. My Family News: January 2010
http://myfamilynewspaper.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 20 January 2010. Eyes on the goal. Sometimes you stumble across a quote that reminds you of things forgotten. Things unbelievably important but somehow swallowed up in the day to day. For me, this is one of those quotes. It's Brigham Young:. Saturday, 9 January 2010. More Fun in the Snow. Quite literally poor fellow. Bravest little lad I have ever met. Sunday, 4 April 2010. Now fast asleep (finally) after the hospital visit you can get some idea of his discomfort. I can only assume it is so bad because he got it while still recovering from scarlet fever and his immune system is already depressed. He was pre...
