The 4th annual Mount Veeder Fire Safe Council golf tournament was Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Eagle Vines Vineyards and Golf Club. The scramble format tournament was followed by a great barbecue dinner, a silent auction, and a raffle of fine wines, elegant meals, and other choice items donated by local wineries, restaurants, and other businesses and organizations.

Old Ridge Road Shaded Fuel Break. See a presentation about this project here. In Spring 2012, the Mount Veeder Fire Safe Council received a $20,000 grant from the Napa Communities Firewise Foundation, using funds from Napa County, to complete the first segment of the Old Ridge Road Shaded Fuel Break.
