iDon'tGetIt - Speculations

Documenting an ongoing argument with words. May 4th, 2010 at 2:34 PM. Writers, editors, bloggers, etc.) the lack of a keyboard seems to be a real show-stopper of a defect, at least to me. If I can't input text at anywhere near 70 words per minute (my usual typing speed), then I just don't see the point. So explain it to me: If a laptop can do everything a tablet can (and do it better), and a smartphone is more portable, why on Earth does anyone buy them? 9 comments Leave a comment. Off With Their Heads. Thoughts, opinions, rants, and praise from La Comtesse. Write What You Know, Douchebags. Aug 16th, 2010 at 9:49 PM. So, apparently, this piece of shit is going around Facebook (it was brought to my attention by Mama Bogwitch, whose cousin put it as her status). Where to even begin? I could go on about this for pages and pages, but I'll keep it brief. That shit is not even a fucking sentence. And you spelled appalling wrong. Let me say how very much I love. When people who don't live ...

124; Comments RSS. Writing Or Trying to Write: Why Bother? Posted on February 10, 2015. As an experiment I’ve decided to drop some of my essays from my classes here (I’m back in school, again). I think I’ll only post the ones I really like as posts and the rest I’ll just put up as a page. Here’s hoping someone likes them enough to plagiarize them.]. Writing Or Trying to Write: Why Bother? Does anyone here have write access to a PHP web server? - Ron Newman
http://ron-newman.livejournal.com/5212.html
Does anyone here have write access to a PHP web server? Does anyone here have write access to a PHP web server? Mar 11th, 2011 08:57 pm. I am investigating an unfortunate interaction between a Facebook feature (the "always use https" preference) and the behavior of certain browsers (definitely Mac Safari, perhaps others) when they receive an HTTP "302" redirect. Specifically, I'm investigating the behavior of browsers when Facebook redirects a URL of the following format from http to https:. We're runnin...

Worldcon, WSFS and language - Feed the Blog-Monster!
http://bovil.livejournal.com/531151.html
Its all about the cud. Worldcon, WSFS and language. Aug 27th, 2013 at 12:45 PM. I kind of hope my friends on SMOFs and JOF will pick this up and start a dialog. I think we're ill-served by the traditional "supporting" and "attending" membership names for Worldcon. We have people complaining about paying to vote for the Hugo awards. We have people confused about voting fees and supporting memberships and why they have to pay both in site selection. 2 comments Leave a comment. Aug 28th, 2013 02:47 am (UTC).

Scarf length? - I'll think of something clever in a minute
http://lyzard13.livejournal.com/31798.html
Ill think of something clever in a minute. Lyzard13s Toy Store - Sci-Fi Toys and More! Nov 11th, 2008 01:21 am. I am making a couple of scarves for a charity drive. I mention that because I don't know who the eventual recipient will be, so I can't guess or ask how long a scarf they would like. What would you say is the average length for a scarf for a woman's scarf, and for a man's? Any help would be appreciated - thanks! 2008-11-11 11:30 am (UTC). 14" x 70" seems common at Nordstrom.

I thought this was obvious. People keep proving me overly optimistic. Check your privilege at the door, please. This does not mean "If you can't say nice don't say anything"; that is a sweet and gentle tool of oppression. Besides, I get stuff wrong all the time. Opinions of people in oppressed groups.
