The reason I have come up with yet another online serial number listing is because I can’t find ANY online that. According to the above chart. And of course I...

Jason DuMars Engraving: Buescher "Big B" re-engraving and additions
http://dumarsengraving.blogspot.com/2011/03/buescher-big-b-re-engraving-and.html
Musical instrument engraving and the celebration of a dying art. Thursday, March 03, 2011. Buescher "Big B" re-engraving and additions. This was a very challenging project, as the owner wants to custom-plate the horn first with silver, then gold fill inside the engraving. This meant leaving a lot of interior space, but also enhancing the existing pattern consistent with the factory work(! Posted by Jason DuMars. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jason DuMars Engraving: Yamaha engraving project underway
http://dumarsengraving.blogspot.com/2011/03/yamaha-engraving-project-underway.html
Musical instrument engraving and the celebration of a dying art. Thursday, March 03, 2011. Yamaha engraving project underway. This project is an unlacquered Yamaha custom Z, for a pro player in SLC. This is an odd situation, since I had already done 2 Zs for him, but one recently got destroyed in a freak accident, so I am "replacing" the old one. His lacquered version was featured on the Yamaha blog. Posted by Jason DuMars. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My videos on engraving.

Jason DuMars Engraving: King Super 20 before and after photos
http://dumarsengraving.blogspot.com/2010/08/king-super-20-before-and-after-photos.html
Musical instrument engraving and the celebration of a dying art. Wednesday, August 25, 2010. King Super 20 before and after photos. This was a restoration project, as well as adding new work to it. The owner wanted a "tasteful nude" so I added her to the side. SilverSonic bells are harder to work with, as silver is softer than brass. It did allow me to do some nice bright cut work though. More Beautiful Engraving… | Yamaha Bell & Barrel
https://yamahawinds.wordpress.com/2010/01/29/more-beautiful-engraving
Yamaha Bell and Barrel. The Official Mouthpiece of Yamaha Wind Instruments. January 29, 2010 • 5:46 pm. More Beautiful Engraving…. Jason DuMars has some beautiful pictures on his Flickr page. Of a number of custom engraving projects he’s done including a Yamaha YTS-82Z Custom Tenor Saxophone. There is no question that this type of engraving is truly an art form, and perhaps a somewhat dying art form. Congratulations to Jason for making this particular Yamaha 82Z into an absolute one-of-a-kind instrument.

Jason DuMars Engraving: A bit of inspiration
http://dumarsengraving.blogspot.com/2010/09/bit-of-inspiration.html
Musical instrument engraving and the celebration of a dying art. Sunday, September 05, 2010. A bit of inspiration. I love old Selmer (American) style engraving that started to emerge in the early 30s. Even a horn so massively produced as the Mark VI had gorgeous work on it. For me the pinnacle of their engraving was between 1939 and 1950, and I find a lot of inspiration in it. My homage to Selmer, especially the flowers! The bell in profile. Even with crummy pads this tenor still plays incredibly well!
