Why have an assessment? An assessment will reveal a lot about how your brain works. This will enable you to understand why you are good at some tasks and struggle with other, often apparently simple, tasks. It allows you to make informed decisions about the future. An assessment enables a specialist to make specific recommendations for support and training. If you wish to apply for support through either the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) or Access to Work (AtW) you will need a diagnostic assessment.
