The Foundation is a Microsoft Registered Refurbisher, a status which allows it to provide genuine Microsoft software on refurbished PC’s destined to non–profit charitable organizations. The Foundation is empowered to install Windows XP Professional and Microsoft Office Basic 2007 on refurbished PC’s. Structure of the Foundation. The Foundation is managed by a Management Committee comprised of the Trustees and three other persons. It has powers to apply and expend the capital and income of the Trust Fund and to manage and administer the day–to–day affairs of the trust. NGO’s are among the target beneficiaries of the Foundation. Any CSR–accredited NGO is entitled to a free PC from the Foundation. To register your request, please Click here. The foundation will also put PC’s at the disposal of NGO’s for their projects, which may be in varying fields from IT training to literacy programs. To submit your application for PC’s to run your projects. The Foundation will also set up a NGO IT Academy which will provide a number of IT courses for the benefit of NGO staff.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The Foundation being accredited as a Special Purpose vehicle (SPV) for CSR purposes, any donation to the Foundation qualifies as meeting the donor’s obligations under the CSR scheme. Sponsor a PC Program. Moreover, this sum provides for the disassembly and disposal according to accepted ecological standards of the PC at its end of life.
