September 5, 2017. I last wrote in this space three years ago, and then I turned both inward and outward and I didn’t visit here for years. I tried to write more for myself and I invested in crowds and groups. I was alone less and I went through a series of trials (in a perfect set of three) that tested me. In December, I will have a kid and the question I ask every mother is, where will my solitude be found? Where do those old thoughts live? Where do those old instincts hide? Where will my happiness be?
