Trying to make sense of my genealogy (and other things). October 3, 2010. I haven’t had time for much genealogy lately. I hit a cyber roadblock the other day. 8221; A neighbor emailed my husband with “let me know what we can do to help.” Countless others texted, emailed, and called to let me know what was happening and to inquire delicately just in case this was for real. Anyone who had any sense of who I am would have known better, right? Well, maybe . . . What other areas of my life could they invade?

Maybe I’m a little bored with my life. Maybe I just want to know who my people are. Hell, the celebrities can hire professional genealogists and find out down to the village where they are from. I don’t have that luxury, but I do have some research skills, and I’m going to utilize them.
