本實驗室(Mobile Intelligent Network Technology Lab)目前有關智慧型平台之研究包含雲端以及智慧型手機裝置之結合，例如多重感測、手部追蹤、擴增實境以及樣式辨認等，目的在於提升使用者之用戶體驗(User Experience). Hit the Mole (打地鼠). A Hyprid Intrusion Prevention System for Android-based Mobile Platforms (Android移動裝置之資安防護機制).

我們嘗試利用智慧型行動裝置上的多重感測，如陀螺儀、攝像鏡頭、及GPS定位等，完成駕駛輔助系統(Driver Assistance System, DAS)的開發，其中包含道路偵測、前方物件偵測防碰撞、和GPS導航結合路況查詢等功能。如本實驗室透過交通大學出版社所出版的呦呦奇遇記作品，利用擴增實境技術，能夠提升讀者的閱讀興趣，打破以往平面閱讀的限制，提供更多資訊給使用者。因為智慧型裝置越進步，能處理事務的運算效能也越來越高，智慧型裝置應用程式(Application，App)的發展也越來越蓬勃，讓手機功能不再只限於通訊，生活上的食衣住行育樂都可以和App有密切關係，少了App對智慧型裝置的相輔相成，智慧型手機在市場上也無法生存下去，所以 App在智慧型裝置是個很重要的角色，越迎合大眾需要的App軟體，常常會得到大量使用者的意見與回饋，開發者就要即時地做錯誤修正，當然也就需要投入更多的人力跟技術。通訊裝置需要有很多的物理與數學基礎程式設計觀念，對高中生來說，請問教授是否有推薦的讀物或者建議多學習關於哪方面的知識.
