In Finnish – Suomeksi. Preliminary program 13-14th August. XXXII Viaporin Tuoppi will be sailed. A traditional and joyous evening party with the prize award ceremony belongs to the essentials of the Viaporin Tuoppi. Brass music will welcome the racing crews of around 200 boats at the Suomenlinna Pursiseura harbour in Varvilahti, Suomenlinna, directly after the race. After that a traditional Finnish sauna, good food and having fun at the party tent is a must.

Viaporin Tuopin kilpailurata on saaristorata, jonka lähtö- ja maalilinja on Kruunuvuoren selällä Vasikkasaaren länsipuolella. Sieltä rata kiertää Helsingin edustalla Katajanokan editse Särkän salmen läpi ja Pihlajasaaren ympäri palaten Ryssänsaaren pohjoispuolitse kiertäen sitten Lonnan ja takaisin Kruunuvuoren selälle. Ns. isot veneet kiertävät lisäksi Kuggenstenin (kuvassa katkoviivalla merkitty). Radan pituus on 13 tai 16NM. Tuuliolosuhteista riippuen rata kierretään joko myötä- tai vastapäivään.

Yhtä suuri osa kuin kisa on Viaporin Tuoppia, on myös lauantain perinteinen hilpeä iltajuhla palkintojenjakoineen. Torvisoitto vastaanottaa kilpailijat, pitkälti toista sataa venekuntaa, mereltä SuPS:n satamaan Suomenlinnan Varvilahteen. Sen jälkeen saunotaan, syödään ja vietetään iltaa rannan ravintola-alueella.
