Arguably, I need to learn that, sometimes, both short- and long-term problems (ie. problems that can be solved in a short or long period of time) are incapable of being evaluated or solved, or at least are unable to be, for varied lengths of time, understood or controlled whatsoever. Sometimes problems that have real impact on your life are mysterious and opaque and, most importantly, terrifying.
