Wrapping up the school year. We're just a few weeks away from starting the school year, so it's about time I document the end of the last school year. It was a great one! Sunday, June 22, 2008. I went to Lake Powell last week and had the best time with a great group of people. I didn't know everyone when I arrived but by the end we all became friends and had a fun and relaxing time together. We all want to go back. Summer is the best for such random and great trips. . Today is the day that my beautiful angel grandmother passed away. I have this picture of her hanging in my hall. Itsy, bitsy pony. Kits hair is growing thicker and taller and fluffier every day. The last time we were with Grandpa Bell he said "kit, when is your hair gonna bend? Mally says she wants to lick it, cause it "looks like it would dissolve like cotton candy. Her soft strawberry hair is one of the things I love most, and now even fits in the smallest ponytail. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. While we were in Ramona we went to a "Hawkwatch" at the Ramona Grasslands held by the Wildlife Research Institute. These hawks were a foot away from us.
