I was entirely happy. Tuesday, August 16, 2011. I have a five-year old. Yes, it's an obvious statement, but I can't quite wrap my head around the fact that my little Gus is five years old. I remember when he was a baby and having a 5-year old seemed so far away, so foreign. August at 3 months-just look at that fuzzy strawberry-blonde hair.sigh. They BOTH love being big kids. We recently returned from our Michigan vacation. Oh, how I love that place. Andy met a new friend at the elk farm.a sweet horse.

I was entirely happy. Sunday, November 28, 2010. It's Christmas time in Kansas! The kids are really into it this year which makes it really fun. The stockings are hung by the chimney with care.yes, we actually have a CHIMNEY! I'm so excited about this. We haven't had a fire yet b/c we're waiting for the chimney sweep to come this week (I've always wanted to hire a chimney sweep. It's like Mary Poppins! Anyway, they are great together. Their personalities are so different, so I'm glad they get along.

I was entirely happy. Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Well now that was fun. Or something like that to Gus he will inform you that "stinker is a potty word, Mom. Don't use it." Ooops. That's what we get for telling him not to say "poop" every five seconds b/c it's a potty word.
