Work stuff. Don't read if you are squeemish. Jul 2nd, 2013 at 11:06 AM. Once we are up top I start to shake. I made it out of that steel, scream filled coffin. I can still walk and I will be able to see my wife and son again. Blood and water drip out of my uniform, some of it is mine, I don’t even remember getting cut. Someone said I was a hero to be down there. I wanted to spit in his face. 7 comments Leave a comment. Jul 2nd, 2013 06:22 pm (UTC). Well done my friend. Jul 2nd, 2013 07:09 pm (UTC). Gentl...

Jul 9th, 2013 at 8:28 AM. Thank you all for putting up with my work rants. Some times I feel sorry for my adrenal glands, they really take a beating most weeks. grin. So on behalf of the over worked, underpaid, people who can bring you back from the dead but are still referred to as "ambulance drivers", thank you for your understanding and your support. 4 comments Leave a comment. Jul 9th, 2013 05:13 pm (UTC). Occasionally I meet one of the other squadron members. They get it. 4 comments Leave a comment.

He looked a lot like Ivan. Sep 4th, 2014 at 2:43 PM. More work stuff, feel free to scroll on. Dispatched for a 3yo unknown medical. I get on scene and grab my bags. His lifeless body is still on the bottom of the spa. With out getting into too much detail, I brought that little boy back from the dead. He will be fine, probably no long term damage. What do normal people do for a living? 4 comments Leave a comment. Sep 4th, 2014 10:20 pm (UTC). Normal is only a setting on the washer. No words of wisdom her...

Long time, no write - Organized Chaos

Long time, no write - Organized Chaos. Long time, no write. Laquo; previous entry. Next entry ». Dec 3rd, 2010 11:18 pm. It's been a while since I have written. And although I mainly use this blog to write about my sewing, today I need to get something off my chest. This subject rears it's ugly head every once and a while for me and as I have gotten older it has bothered me less for various reasons. However tonight I am deeply offended and I need to write about it. Posted via LiveJournal app for iPhone.

Writer's Block: Sticks and stones - AmandaAlon
http://amandaalon.livejournal.com/21015.html
Writer's Block: Sticks and stones - AmandaAlon. October 28th, 2010. Writer's Block: Sticks and stones. I was raised without any religion. When we got engaged, my fiancee asked me to consider getting married in his church. As I wasn't ever baptized, I would have to be to marry there. After months of informal classes, I decided that it wasn't the right thing for me. My guy was fine with that. October 28th, 2010 04:43 pm (UTC). Not that there's a bright side really, but imagine the damage someone like that ...

Lists of Traitors and Oath-breakers - Offcuts

Lists of Traitors and Oath-breakers - Offcuts. January 8th, 2012. Lists of Traitors and Oath-breakers. GovTrack has conveniently provided lists of the Senators and Representatives who voted to allow indefinite military detention of American citizens (NDAA):. If yours is on the list, contact them and let them know what you think. While you're at it, exhort them NOT to support SOPA. (Asking them to act like adults is probably asking too much.). Back, I guess - Offcuts. February 24th, 2013. Back, I guess. Anyway, I am at least temporarily able to waste time here again, instead of being restricted to wasting time on Facebook, which is also increasingly erratic. I like my tractor better. Writer's Block: Random acts of kindness - AmandaAlon. September 15th, 2010. Writer's Block: Random acts of kindness. Besides the obvious, holding doors, letting someone into traffic.I can't think of what I've done for a stranger. But I do remember the nicest thing a stranger did for me. Shortly thereafter, I gave up, did the rest of my shopping and headed to the checkout. It must have been about twenty minutes since I left the DVD bin. I was almost to the cashier when the young women tapped me on...My da...

Merimasks Ball Of Wax. Or, how Ive found yet another way to spend more quality time with myself. My entries have devolved into pure crap lately. *shrug* Well lets see. I have new shoes! I love them. Skechers Spindrift clogs. Brown ones. Theyre fuzzy inside and they have just enough of a lip on the heel to keep your foot inside. Im working pretty much non-stop, but what else is new? Im always doing that. To be honest, I like it. Im making effortlessly good masks these days too, so thats cool. And it was w...
