January 23rd, 2014. My son has been singing “Kidz Bop” over the last few weeks. He sings along with it, over and over “eye of the tiger, dancing round the fire…” he wanted to share it with me, sticking an ear bud my way. I said I would listen if he listened to one of my songs. He agreed and I put turned on Oingo Boingo’s “dead man’s party”. He admitted that it was pretty good for ‘dad music’. What did we discuss? Mostly about the types of TV shows that are acceptable for the kids.
