Kids Events: Columbus: January 2009
http://kidseventscolumbus.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Here in central Ohio the roads are a little treacherous this weekend for getting out and about, so just wanted to share a neat little website that my son and I have been having fun with while we are stuck indoors. He examined snowflakes under the microscope and became the first person to photograph a single snowflake in 1885. After photographing more than 5,000 snowflakes, he realized none were identical. Same could be said about the interactive website "Make-A-Flake". Saturday, January 10, 2009. Well, w...

Calling it like it is. Tuesday, August 14, 2007. Yep That's right. It's time to potty. We are pottying it up big down here in M-town. Dan and I have both been anxiously awaiting the onset of toilet learning. We bought the potty chair, panties and pull ups. We read the books and have asked anyone with a successfully trained tot what their trick was. We feel we are fully prepared. Was all she said. That was Friday. She did that twice more yesterday and each time (four! She's well ahead of Cordy! I'm ready ...

Soccer Mom in Denial: Gee, I rock?
http://denyingsoccermom.blogspot.com/2007/06/gee-i-rock.html
Soccer Mom in Denial. While really wanting to call it Fag Hag Hiding in the Suburbs, these are just the musings of a working mom. Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Gee, I rock? I fancy myself more of a techno-girl. I get all giddy with computer-generated drumbeats, synthesizers and faraway voices. I hear a dance tune a la 1989 and I get all glassy-eyed. However, there is a new award floating around the blogosphere. So new I was completely unaware of it until Ms. Jenn in Holland. Nominated me for one. The Pillow ...

Gulp) Their articles made me giggle and have taken the edge off a bit so far. But today is only Tuesday. The flight leaves Thursday. Ask me how I am Thursday morning. 8226; A small familiar toy.
