Multiple sclerosis is a disease of the central nervous system, inflicting a wide range of relapsing symptoms, from muscle weakness to chronic pain and depression. Mostly diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 40. It affects almost twice as many women as men. There is no cure for MS yet. But access to specialists and treatment helps people manage the condition.
