Except Some of the Sheep. 26 April, 2011. Another day, another adventure :). Sunday we drove up to Brisbane Forest Park. At the Walkabout Creek entrance there's a small wildlife centre. So that's where we went first, with the intention of walking one of the short trails afterward. In the wildlife centre we walked through the aviary, then Bastian played peek-a-boo with a turtle before going to the outdoor enclosures. Except Some of the Sheep. 13 June, 2011. A few weeks ago we drove to Mount Tamborine. And walked the 3 km circuit at Witches Falls. Last time we were there the track was closed after heavy rains, and it was easy to understand why. It was warm and sunny and hadn't rained for several days, yet there were still many sections of the trail that were very slippery with mud. View from the Falls lookout:. Except Some of the Sheep. 29 November, 2010. Aussie Fauna and Aussie Barbie. Lots of Aussie these past couple of days ;). Yesterday, we drove up to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, which not only has koalas (lots of koalas), but also other indigenous species. As soon as we entered the zoo we met an Eastern Water Dragon. Except Some of the Sheep. 22 January, 2011. Bastian ready to travel - good thing he remembered a phone. He loves picture albums - this one is one we got from my mothers' group in Denmark. One day he figured out how to shut the screen door to the balcony, leaving him stuck outside. Not quite what I had in mind when I asked him to help sweep the balcony, but hey, any help with cleaning is welcome! Curled up in a big bean bag chair with a good book - looks like some of my habits are rubbing of on him ;).
