It's About Oshkosh Students: September 2010
http://oshkoshstudents.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
It's About Oshkosh Students. Thursday, September 9, 2010. Well I said I was done blogging about the school district and now as is a woman's prerogative, I've changed my mind. I must admit, I've become increasing cynical about this district and where it is headed. The last few weeks however I have seen some rays of hope. I was also reserving judgement on whether the hiring of Dr. Viegut as superintendent was the right decision for the district. Posted by Teresa Thiel. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

It's About Oshkosh Students: January 2009
http://oshkoshstudents.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
It's About Oshkosh Students. Sunday, January 25, 2009. Cost of the Referendum. There is a story. In the Sunday, January 25, 2008 Northwestern that states that the total cost of the referendum, in year one, if all 3 questions pass would be about $52 on a $100,000 home. As I suspected, less than one month of cable television or two months of the dish and a whole lot less than the new ipod touch. Now if you have questions about specifics of the referendum or comments about the capital improvement priorities...

It's About Oshkosh Students: LAST POST
http://oshkoshstudents.blogspot.com/2010/02/last-post.html
It's About Oshkosh Students. Thursday, February 11, 2010. Last night's board meeting was the last straw for me. After listening to incredibly eloquent students explain to the board what this will mean to them, with very little discussion the board unanimously dismissed the students' concerns and voted to cut 35 teachers. If each teacher teaches 5 classes that is potentially 175 fewer classes between the 2 high schools. Posted by Teresa Thiel. Friday, February 12, 2010 at 6:30:00 AM CST. These issues star...

It's About Oshkosh Students: March 2008
http://oshkoshstudents.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
It's About Oshkosh Students. Sunday, March 30, 2008. The Northwestern's Endorsement got it Exactly RIGHT. The other poster asked for a thread about the School board election, and as you can see from the Title of this thread, I will post on that one. As the title of this thread implies, The Northwestern's Endorsement. Captures my feelings exactly. None It is so easy to point the finger and vote "no" repeatedly but where was the leadership from the chair pointing out the need to fix our buildings? Her stan...

This Week in Oshkosh: Main Street
http://garyfromoshkosh.blogspot.com/2008/01/main-street.html
This Week in Oshkosh. The Planet is a Bit Wobbly" -Millie Meisel, 20AUG2007. Wednesday, January 23, 2008. Main Street will be redone in the next few years. There has been far too little attention and interest in what. Ideas range from the practical cement and curb to closing down the street to all vehicles except buses, cabs, and emergency vehicles (much like Madison's State St.). We don't need all the $ $ gendarmes $ $ downtown, but YES: Close Main Street for the Gallery Walk. Wednesday, January 23, 2008.

This Week in Oshkosh. The Planet is a Bit Wobbly" -Millie Meisel, 20AUG2007. Tuesday, June 19, 2007. The Death of Father Carr. I saw the headline about Fr. Carr in the Northwestern Monday morning. Through the first cup of coffee and long before the morning cobwebs disappeared from my head I knew I had a job to do. I had all day at work to think about it and develop a level even attitude regarding it. Female, about age 40: "I could care less. He was nasty to everyone.". Typical. Clients are. My comment: F...

This Week in Oshkosh. The Planet is a Bit Wobbly" -Millie Meisel, 20AUG2007. Thursday, October 11, 2007. I'm Back, Att. Warren Kraft is Gone. Welcome back folks. I had a great summer and fall has been even better. Worked hard and played even harder. I was outed by Jody on Babblemur's space today and decided to clear it up for anyone who saw it. News has it that Google is now worth more than Mall-Wart. The editorial view: Ya can't find porn at Mall-Wart! Eye on Oshkosh reports that the Fat Lady has Sung!
