Rants, Raves & Reflections: Rants - Ahhh, that's not me!
http://missli-li.blogspot.com/2008/02/rants-ahhh-thats-not-me.html
Monday, 18 February 2008. Rants - Ahhh, that's not me! We have been instructed to search our names in Google to see whether we come up and whether we want to be mistaken for the people that. I can't find myself in a Google search, probably because my surname is Smith! However, should I have the time and inclination, I'm sure I probably could. Unfortunately, one of the Google search results for my name gives Natalie Smith the softcore porn star! I hope prospective employers would not mistake her for me!

A basic outline of the concept of virtual community and what we take it to mean. How We Use the Internet/Virtual Communities (Fahima). Rants, Raves & Reflections: March 2008
http://missli-li.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 12 March 2008. Well, as the class has come to an end and the NAFA Virtual Community. Wiki has been completed, this will be my last blog. I am also pleased with this blog page. I didn't really like any of the templates offered, so after a lot of time and effort, I managed to re-write and PhotoShop it into something I liked, as well as jazzing up my personal navigation page on the wiki! However, I believe the wiki looks as good and professional as it can (to my personal tastes anyway! All in all...

We've found lots of pictures to put in with our sections to brighten up the pages. Our last lesson yesterday was mainly spent going over the site with the group and checking that everyone had put in their bibliographical sources and that the site links all worked. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Rave - Nearly There! Rave - Going Well.

Rants, Raves & Reflections: Reflection - The Internet is Taking Over!
http://missli-li.blogspot.com/2008/02/reflection-internet-is-taking-over.html
Monday, 25 February 2008. Reflection - The Internet is Taking Over! Today, we had brief discussion around the use of the Internet as a medium and the effects it has had on other mediums, specifically the press. This discussion was of great interest to me as it directly feeds into my dissertation topic, where I am examining the publishing of magazines online and what this holds for the future of print media. Will the Internet ultimately absorb everything and become an all-encompassing medium? But perhaps ...

http://missli-li.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 30 January 2008. Question - None of the R's. This is neither a rant or rave, neither a reflection. I have a question. I need to find some good fashion and 'anti'-fashion blogs to use as research for my dissertation. . I know a few good fashion blogs anyway, but if anyone is reading this and especially knows of any 'anti'-fashion blogs, please enlighten me! Tuesday, 29 January 2008. Rave and a Bit of Rant. Okay, there's only a little bit of rant, just because I haven't ranted yet! Also, I am qu...

Rants, Raves & Reflections: Reflection - Changes
http://missli-li.blogspot.com/2008/02/reflection-changes.html
Sunday, 17 February 2008. Last lesson we had a bit of an upheaval in terms of our wiki's content! Nigel thought we could come up with more original content and we decided to look up examples of things you can do online that you perhaps cannot in 'real-life', so this week we have been conducting research into new topic areas. Who describe themselves as the leaders in the virtual education field. I have obtained case study. I have also briefly researched the aims of a site I often use, called Deviant Art.
