St.Barnabas Church Derby | FUEL
http://stbd.org.uk/fuel.php
Fuel' is the name we give to a free cooked meal and our evening café worship that is held on the 2nd Sunday of each month during term-time. The relaxed informal worship is popular with those from our local community who are wishing to explore the Christian faith and also with the many students who live in our parish. The meal is at 5.30pm and café worship follows at 6.15pm. We focus on issues that touch all of our lives and explore faith and what it means to be a Christian in today's world.

It was decided that walking was a good way to do this and an ideal time was on a Sunday afternoon in the spring and summer. A month of Sundays. Morning Worship, prayer ministry and testimony. Here at Barney's our children are precious to us. We value them immensely and therefore have many avenues for them to enjoy life, learn, grow and thrive. A vital part of this is to encourage them to develop a relationship with God knowing that they are unique and loved by Him. Proverbs 22:6 - 'Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it'. What a great promise! Our Children will make the right choices once they have the knowledge.
