One of my favorites shows is called The Big Bang Theory. The Big Bran Hypothesis". The Pancake Batter Anomaly". Seriously, check out the show…you won’t be sorry! So last week I walked into the front bathroom and saw this:. I know…disgusting ‘Mother Of The Year’). And then my third realization hit me. The one that caused tear...

Our Hungry House: Vampires at Christmas Time
http://ourhungryhouse.blogspot.com/2015/12/christmas-brunch.html
Sunday, December 13, 2015. Vampires at Christmas Time. I have a problem with vampires. I love them- that's the problem. They. Aren't really nice. There dark, sensual, powerful, enigmatic, immortal,. Adjectives- but not nice. So it bothers me that I'm so incredibly drawn to them and can't seem to get enough. It's bothered me for a while and in the last year or so, I've really done some deep thinking about it. I think I know why vampires are so compelling and it. That's also not nice. Should I talk about f...

Our Hungry House: May 2015

Tuesday, May 19, 2015. We're All Alive and Well! Sorry for the disappearing act). I haven’t done a blog update in months. So much has happened that I haven’t even known how to start…. I know the last update was discouraging, with no answers on my medical status and the frustration over the continued pain and lack of mobility I was having every day. Thank you for those who continued to pray and encourage me. I’m very grateful. I definitely knew the Lord wanted me to wait and not seek further employment.

Our Hungry House: July 2013
http://ourhungryhouse.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 6, 2013. Ah-MAZE-ing Light Banana Pancakes. Once again, I have let weeks pass without an entry. Life just gets so busy sometimes! The week before last I logged in 53 hours of work for my job that’s supposed to be around 14-20 hours a week. Then we had a big Fourth of July barbecue here at our house, leaving me no lag time to recover from my long work week. The boys are out of school and very unhappy about my hours spent on the computer instead of entertaining and interacting with them.

Our Hungry House: September 2014
http://ourhungryhouse.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 8, 2014. Back in the spring, I shared a bit of my journey regarding the injury to my groin and back. Well a few more months have passed and I’ve continued along with physical therapy. My attitude has gotten much better and while my back has made great improvements, I have stalled in the last month or so with PT. Both I and my physical therapist feel pretty frustrated and discouraged. The end of September will be a full year since I started on this journey. I just got back from seeing her.

Our Hungry House: A Cainan Story
http://ourhungryhouse.blogspot.com/2016/06/a-cainan-story.html
Friday, June 24, 2016. I know it's been forever since I posted in the blog. I keep wanting to but real life also keeps getting in the way. There's so much I want to say and share but it will have to wait. However, this couldn't wait. It deserved so much more than a Facebook post so I had to log into Blogger and say something about my incredible son. God is so good! Cainan asked if he could loan her his Bible and highlight the story of Joseph. He wanted her to see how Joseph was. He asked her to read Gene...
