Farne Islands Boat Trips – Online Reservations. We are currently taking reservations for our Farne Islands boat trips and tours for our Sail Around, Inner Farne, Staple Island, All Day and Sunset Cruise tours. You can book online now and payment can be made on the day of your sailing at our booth on Seahouses harbour. Our Sail Around trip runs summer and winter. The winter is weather permitting. Important Note: If you wish to make a booking in the morning for the same day please contact us.

Seahouses and Farne Islands. The Farne Islands are a small group of islands a few miles off the coast at the Northumberland village of Seahouses. Serenity II leaving Inner Farne. Today the Farne Islands are an incredibly important wildlife reserve, home to many species including Puffin, Eider, Razorbill, Guillemot, Shag, Kittiwake and Fulmar. There is also a large colony of grey seals which breed through the autumn and winter months.

Our Farne Islands Boats. We operate two modern and well equipped vessels, Serenity and Serenity II. Serenity from Inner Farne. Serenity during our Sunset Cruise. Serenity is our original boat and is ideal for visiting the Farne Islands in all weather conditions. Serenity is fitted with a three quarter length shelter and an open rear. Serenity II also has wheelchair access when the level of the tide is suitable to allow us to use the harbour slipway. Please contact us.

The Farne Islands and surrounding seas are an internationally important wildlife reserve. During the spring breeding season over 80,000 pairs of puffins, guillemots, razorbills, eider ducks, kittiwakes, fulmars, shags, Arctic, common and sandwich terns plus more make the various islands their temporary home. At The Bakehouse we aim to cater for all the needs of our guests. Check in is usually after 3:00pm and check out by 10:30am but we can be flexible. Guests have use of their own private lounge.
