Title I is a federal program that provides funds to help educationally disadvantaged children achieve the same high academic achievement as other students. During the 2008-2009 school year DPS expects to receive approximately $31 million in regular Title I funding (before the Supplemental Title I allocation from the Stimulus Plan).
