Edward B. Chuong, PhD. Department of Human Genetics. Email: edwardc@genetics.utah.edu. CV updated November 2016. I studied Bioinformatics as an undergraduate at the UCSD Department of Bioengineering from 2003-2007, where I worked with Dr. Hopi Hoekstra. To study how maternal-fetal evolutionary arms races affect protein evolution in the placenta. I next pursued a PhD at the Stanford University Department of Genetics as an NSF Graduate Fellow from 2007-2013, in the lab of Dr. Julie Baker.
