Anyhow, instead of spending $300.00 a month for crappy insurance I'll just pay for my prescriptions and hope for the best. Blah, blah, blah, blah blah. I've been happier, and I will be again. Here's a photo of "The Lucy's", two chickens I had in my urban backyard in Austin. Next book- Chickens! Tuesday, July 9, 2013.

To resharpen my dull and rusty brush skills. a lover of metaphoracal circles, i've recently begun using the digital collages as subject matter for my paintings. See the dots of light. These digital collages are the by-product of a creative necessity, born when my camera broke several years ago and i turned to my inventory of photos for artistic play. the style is influenced by my past as a painter, flat glass designer for commercial studios, and printing press operator. it is also defined by my limitations as a photographer, artist, and working mother of a disabled child. Time and space are rearranged. Style is based on limitations - john hartford.

It's already been quite an eventful year in Linda-Land just four months in. Chock-a-block full of ups, downs, and ins and outs. I just reached my 60th year with mixed feelings so I thought a look back might help me make a little sense of it all. Oh hell, who knows? So, here I am. Wanting to get through the memorial serv...

Thoughts and current Artwork of a Folk Artist Outsider who specializes in Scratchboard, Collage and Assemblage. Sunday, May 19, 2013. Today I'm thinking about choices. I hate to simplify things down to "this or that", but isn't that kind of what life is all about? Do I want this? Do I want that? I'm also working on an idea for a future kickstarter project to produce some full color posters of dogs and cats. More on that later. In the meantime, be happy, make art! Thursday, May 2, 2013.
