Monday, August 27, 2012. I Like my Birthdays, Every One! My birthday really started the weekend before. My wonderful sister in laws and cousin in laws went on a weekend vacation. I wasn't able to go so they printed off a few of my heads and headed out (no pun intended)! They went to Galveston, TX and took me along and captured some great pictures of me. Friday, February 1, 2013. Ok It's frustrating. I don't think I look pregnant and I don't feel like people look at me and think I'm pregnant, so they ask. They are more looking at TJ and thinking, "Wow, he's 2, you should be pregnant." It's not their place. It's not their business. Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Mr TJ is on the potty train! He showed signs of readiness about 6 months ago but I totally ignored them because I was too scared to potty train him. Potty training is training for both the kid and the parents. You have to remind. You have to know where the bathrooms are at all times. You have to clean up messes. You have to teach. Monday, May 12, 2014. I wanted to share my mom's recipe for fried chicken. This meal was definitely a staple at our home growing up and once you try it, you'll see why! Mix together flour and then any seasonings you like. You don't need to dip the chicken into egg or any other mixture. Friday, September 26, 2014. Here's the map where our team is meeting! Registration starts at 7:30 and then the walk starts at 9! There is a lot of free food and such before the walk and a carnival for the kids after the walk. It's a 5K loop around downtown (start and end in the same place) and it's a lot of fun!
