I stand by it, though I should add some notes. 8211; Most things are more expensive but some things are actually more reasonable. It’s not just gas (referred to as “petrol” here), which I mentioned earlier. Health insurance is cheaper than in the US, swimming lessons for kids are cheaper than in Romania, etc. It’s not all bad. Not really, certainly not compared to here. Mmm… the beach!
