A Mom of Many Who is: The four year old mind
http://dothenexthing.blogspot.com/2009/08/four-year-old-mind.html
Thursday, August 13, 2009. The four year old mind. A couple weeks ago I was taking my shower one morning and realized that my towel had disappeared. So I finished my shower and then yelled to see which child was closest - when you have 8, at least someone should hear me, right? My almost 4 year old daughter was the one that came to my rescue. I told her what I needed, and where she could get it. So instead of hearing the linen closet door open, and a cheerful "Here, mommy! View my complete profile.

A Mom of Many Who is: Excuse Me?
http://dothenexthing.blogspot.com/2009/08/excuse-me.html
Friday, August 14, 2009. Last night my now four year old daughter came up to me and said that she is still only three. I asked her why that was and she responded, "Because Bekah's fingernails are longer than mine, so I'm not four yet! Bekah is her best friend and just turned four in March. Kandi, Greg and Girls. Friday, February 6, 2015. Scientific research, medical research, and history all point in favor of getting vaccinated. I mean we look at America and we freak out at the 100 cases of measles this year. Should we freak out? No, they are healthier. If you have 1 less deadly disease running around it tends to help. It is/was so bad that mothers don't give children real names until they get past the disease. That is the present. Can you imagine? Probably not, really good builders and fa...

Kandi, Greg and Girls. Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Encouraging a special needs parent. You can look at a special needs parent and think this is not easy. We have to deal with a lot of challenges. We deal with a lot of frustrations. We also have a lot of love flowing in our house. We also have victories that we celebrate. We are happy. I want to go through some of the things that can be encouraging to a special needs parent. I don’t understand her life, but I try to encourage her to be the best mom sh...

Thursday, January 29, 2009. Uh, no, I don't think so. Question yesterday from my 7 year old son: Mom, do we have batteries in us? Also from my 12 year old daughter:. Can we get a puppy? How about a guinea pig? I think with eight children, pets are a little out of the question at this point! Monday, January 26, 2009. Of course I do! Since I always need a hug, I figured this was his way of asking for one! I was very happy to oblige. Friday, January 9, 2009. It should be illegal. To be so cute! Subscribe to...

A Mom of Many Who is: March 2009

Wednesday, March 11, 2009. Stuck, Chapter 2. OK, so here's the newest lesson I learned when dealing with kids - when one nostril has something in it, check out the other one! After clearing the peanut out of one of my 2 year old's nostrils, later that evening, my 14 year old son noticed that there was something in the other one. So he and I tried to get it out, without any success at all. It was REALLY stuck! Now, I wonder if another one will fit in the other hole? Oh no, it hurts now - where's mom?
