Most birth parents will tell you the system stole their child and doesn't want to give it back, they are wrong. In many cases, DCFS is trying to give the children back to their parents, but the parents will not do one simple thing that the court wants them to do - visit their child. Establish a bond if there wasn't one.

Jaden no longer needs to be "J" - is officially an adoption placement now! It won't be final for about 3 months, but that is nothing compared to the last 2 years! To) Jaden would have been the last one I would have ever thought would stay with me!

Wednesday, February 3, 2010. After 2 years and 4 months God placed this beautiful baby boy in our arms tonight. He is so peaceful, happy, lovely, smart, strong, cute. I could go on all night and I have only known him for 7 hours. We are so in love with him and praising our Lord for delivering. How honored we are that He trusts us with His orphans. James 1:27. Thank you for your wonderful prayers. We could not have made it through it all without them. Oh Flynn Family, he is just so beautiful!

Well, I mean not like a big snowstorm or anything, but there was some light snow on the ground. It was even snowing this morning! Anyway, we still don't have a baby. We've been waiting by the phone and jumping every time it rings, but still no baby. We know we'll get one sometime though. We're going to the movies later. It looks really good.

I don't know if I've mentioned this before but J has this vision problem called Nystagmus, it's basically where he can't focus his eyes on anything and it makes his eyes go cross-eyed sometimes and he can only see close up. His eyes won't ever be normal but they won't be getting worse. When he's older contact lenses are supposed to help. Hopefully we'll hear good news. That isn't good news!
