This Sunday we were invited to have lunch with the team at church “tacos de Carne Asada” (steak Tacos) two men who had been in jail two years ago when We visited the prison are now free, strong followers of Christ and started this taco business with their wives and children to make a living for their Families. We went back to church for the evening service, This time only Edgar and Lili and Alek had come with us, we treated them to a Blizzard at DQ on our way home:).

We invited once again The whole Dueck clan, this time we had Mike’s parents who came from Canada to visit, instead of Gaby’s Parents, and Helmut’s parents of course. Living Life on Purpose! February 27, 2014. Still in San Carlos! Well, as expected, we had an unexpected change of plans. Today Rich and Jen came and made spaghetti for us all. And we met a couple while going for a walk this afternoon and they said they had heard about this mission and had wanted to do something to help. They asked if they could bring supper in the next couple of days. It’s really neat to see how God works and we alway live in anticipation of what He will do tomorrow. February 24, 2014.

Welcome to our site. It's not much right now, but it's slowly growing. With two kids, most of the updates revolve around them, but so do our lives. Ellie was born on Feb. 11, 2006. We've only taken a few (hundred) pictures. Evan was born on June 21, 2008. We've taken a couple pictures of him too. We started a blog! Janette has made most of the posts, but every once in a while Nathan will add something. Nathan finally got a few of his favorite photo's together and on a web page.
